Biography
Jim Hickey is a composer, producer and performer of electronic music. Berlin became his home after passing through on tour and its jagged music and art scenes became his biggest influences after a hazy mediterranean youth spent between the island of Malta and Los Angeles. A passion for songwriting and sonic experimentation forms his music, while a collection of old synths and drum machines weaves the fabric of his sound in his studio in the heart of Berlin.
After years of film work, fashion campaigns and self-releasing a number of singles and remixes, he spent the past few years producing acts in Berlin before releasing “Love In Rewind” in May 2020, the title track for “Makel”, a ProSieben original series in Germany. 2021 will see the release of his new EP and a number of collaborations with international dance producers.
